Really Upset overall about the AI situation and how Everyday NPC's are using it...
Especially when it comes to things about Music and Bands, even ones which are actually NO LONGER ACTIVE...
These assholes are flooding the internet with AI generated versions all over YouTube and elsewhere that the band NEVER made. The AI samples their voice, and very accurately as well, and is creating all this new digital garbage or remakes of all kinds of different songs, and also people are generating new images and videos of band pictures and photos or even inserting themselves in the photos with them, of historical occurrences that NEVER happened.
These NPC's seem to think there is nothing wrong with this, and that it's just some sort of "innocent fun" and "entertainment", but the long-term issue with this is that it is distorting the "what's real / what's not real" approach and making it annoying to have to sort through band photos for example (which is something I really value) that are REAL versus ones that were never real, and now it also means that previously unreleased photos that may be unearthed, become viewed as "suspicious" or potentially AI.
Now, what's even more ridiculous too is since this is basically putting a form of anxiety on us whether or not we realize it, it's gotten so bad that from a band that I'm intimately familiar with and regularly in contact with someone that is the official rights over the publications and materials for the band and still maintains a log of all of their releases and information for the band, when a certain demo from a long time ago was released, people started flooding the comments sections online claiming that what he posted was "AI", even though this guy would not only never do that, but a former Studio Producer was the one who originally had it and even confirmed it was genuine.
The thing with this actual AI music I'm noticing too, is even when stumbling upon it, all of it just has this similar sound that seems to be a giveaway where it sounds very sterilized no matter the genre, and just too predictable and lackluster and mechanical in a way that lacks Human innovation or creativity, and what the AI is frequently doing is it's scanning the internet or wherever music "lives" and picks up on themes, solos, riffs or chorus lines in songs that are extremely popular with many views, and tries to copy it with slight modifications.
One dead giveaway is usually that every repeat of the chorus in the song sounds 100% identical to the previous time the chorus took place in the song, without any slight changes in vocal cadence or style and other musical add-ins or modifications that may either be done purposely by a real artist or from the natural fact that Humans will sing something slightly different each time.
Once in a while, especially when I have free time, I love spending hours trying to search out new music online, and holy fucking shit, the last time I did this a few months ago it wasn't as bad as now, but over the weekend I was looking through various online compilations, and I couldn't believe how much fake garbage is out there and I am thinking to myself "What!? This can't be real, they never did a cover of this, or they never did a special feature with this artist, did they!?"
Sure enough, it was AI slop and sounded horrible!!! And people are using tools to create hundreds of fake songs with these AI apps.
The only silver lining is that I saw that some compilation makers are sick as hell of it too and specifically denoting on their videos "NO AI" with barred symbols and making sure it's clear as soon as you go on the videos. But it's annoying as all hell to have to sort through video content to try to find what is AI and what isn't.
On some AI releases of songs that some bands never had sung or created, I am really shocked how accurate the AI interprets their voices through sampling and even generates the music beats and style to be close to the original sound of the band, making it seem to an uninformed viewer as if it was new unreleased material, or as if the band is making more music.
Even with some of the fake GIF animations and video clips I've been seeing as well, the AI is extremely advanced, because it's sampling huge swaths of data from other images and seen footage by the band to know exactly the mannerisms of body movement, down to smiling and gestures to make it look natural or real, to where if you didn't know otherwise, you might suspect it really happened.
I really hate this shit, and at the same time, while there will still always be Musicians out there who make real music, the problem is AI actually is de-incentivizing the whole process and life of being a Musician, especially now that they have to compete against assholes with no skills who are helping to form the AI Music, not to say the AI's that automatically are "generating" Music out there on their own.
In the future, Real Music from Real Musicians could potentially become a very small niche category compared to how much AI music will replace it and flood the internet.
@PSA Are you aware of the statistics regarding crimes committed by adults who were brought up in single-parent fatherless homes?
ReplyDeleteAt first glance, it might seem as if the reason why these men became criminals could be the fact that they had no 'father-figure'.
However, this is a completely wrong conclusion to draw.
The fathers who had abandoned those children were genetically predisposed to doing such things.
The reason the children from these fathers had higher rates of crime was due to the inheritance of the same genetics that resulted in their parents abandoning them.
So, the entire reason for the increased crime rates amongst the father-less children was never environmental but rather genetic.
If according to what you said before, an NPC's lineage doesn't affect his/her behaviour then why does the crime rates between these single-parent NPCs and dual-parent NPCs show such a vast difference?
Regardless whether you have a soul or not, a vast and major portion of whatever personality traits you might have including your introversion/extroversion/attachment styles/perseverance/will to work hard/conscientiousness is entirely genetic...and while some might have been thanks to you being 'souled' majority of 'whoever' you actually are, is thanks to your lineage from where you descend from.
If you still believe that genetics have meagre effect on NPC personalities, then let me ask you this...
A somalian npc and German/nordic npc...Which group will be able to create something reminiscent of civilisation? Whose tongue would feel less 'barbaric'?

DeleteYes, what you say about key differences in personality traits are definitely based on race, even among two different NPC's, this is for certain.
The reason has to do with different racial and biological characteristics within that given race, because even the neural activity in the brains are different, along with overall intelligence.
Them being an NPC doesn't relegate them to equal intelligence, for example, among other things. There are very smart NPC's, so a German NPC will of course be very intelligent even compared to a Negro NPC in this case, by a broad stretch across their populations.
The only thing an NPC signifies is that someone does not have a soul.
Everything else is the same.
You could sort of think of animals, in somewhat a way like you would NPC's, because they do have different types of intelligence but for example, they don't understand many human concepts, and are relegated to their instinctual behavior only.
That being said, every animal has completely different cognitive, intellectual and other abilities, so yeah.
@PSA Yeah. What I mean to say is that, it is my personal belief, but almost 80-90% of your personality...by that I mean open-mindedness, conscientiousness, and even 'honesty' for that matter can be 'somewhat' inherited by NPCs as well.

This was the part I was trying to get.
You seem to believe genetic heritablity only exists at a macro level. But I am claiming that almost the entire 'version' of who you actually are is mostly due to your lineage and not your 'soul'.
I hope you understand what I am trying to say. Almost 100% of whatever personality traits you show has less to do with your soul and more to do with your lineage regardless of your race or intelligence.

Because even when we control for intelligence, upbringing, race and everything else, there is simply too much of a vast variance between NPC personalities. It is obviously due to their lineage.
Thus in essence, @PSA, you can never change your 'personality'. Looks can be changed. But it is IMPOSSIBLE to change your personality. Absolutely impossible.

DeleteBut the key difference with NPC's boils down to how they "process" things mentally... NPC's don't have any scruples about things that people who have a soul "do", irrespective of race. While racial qualities can surely influence tendencies and behavioral traits, the thing is for example, NPC's are much more ruthless when it comes to chasing after money, power and status, and have no problems in doing what they need to do to get there, no matter how much it means adhering to the Matrix system, irrespective of the race they come from.
Because an NPC lives completely in the world of matter, and only sees things through it, and has no higher self.
When a being has a higher self, their processing gets filtered or routed through this mechanism which also changes what someone may be willing to put up with or not, and those who have a higher self, have greater wisdom.
@PSA So in essence this 'script' you mentioned in NPCs is nothing other than the display of their genetics. These 'scripts' could also be influencing you, but you are unaware.
Delete@Hi, Correct, personalities can never change. The whole notion about "working on oneself" or trying to become something else, is just complete deception. Nobody can change their personalities from the way they naturally are.

Yes, that is absolutely an astute observation and you have indicated very distinct qualities in that statement based on an NPC versus racial characteristics.
Indeed, an NPC which comes from a more intelligent race, could come across as more civilized, even though they are NPC's, which probably would be the case with Modern Germany and the UK as perfect examples as that...
That being said, their "NPC" traits meant that masking and vaxxing became completely "bought into" by these NPC's. Just as it was by the NPC's in China, for example. And most of Chinese are of course NPC's as well, there is no country in the world that has around less than some 85-90% or more of their population being NPC's.
