If Alcohol were an "Upper" rather than a "Downer", It'd probably be the Perfect Drug
So yeah, I also have been drinking a lot more lately as I'm sure a lot of you have as well if you can afford the Alcohol that is, but I'm drinking exclusively at home.
That being said, every time I drink, I always get reminded with my Love-Hate relationship with Alcohol which is probably the only reason I also cannot really become much of an Alcoholic.
The only thing I notice that Alcohol helps a lot more with is if I cannot reduce the stress or anxiety immediately which is sometimes not possible with Caffeine, Caffeine is far more mood-dependent, the alcohol works, but the issues with it compared to other "fixes" are so numerous, along with the fact that it increases your tolerance over time.
But I just absolutely HATE, HATE, HATE the somewhat "drowsy" or out of control feeling and tiredness that often come with the alcohol especially after the buzz wears down, along with feeling dehydrated.
I also hate the fact that alcohol does have a detrimental effect on vitamin and mineral stores as well, so the problem with it is that it has a cumulative effect that can be really detrimental if it gets out of control.
But I think personality types also play a large role on whether Alcohol or other substances are one's "go-to" choice for dealing with stress.
Actually, what's crazier is that I've been drinking more than I ever have suddenly in any previous part of my life at least from the standpoint of it being much more regular, and I just have a weird relationship with alcohol as a whole because it's almost like something I have to prepare or brace myself for, which is not the case when consuming caffeine.
The dehydration factor really annoys me, and it also becomes a seasonal thing for me as well.
I hate drinking alcohol in the winter, while a lot of people drink in the winter to "warm up", it just doesn't seem to settle right with me.
I believe today here where I live that the seasonal "shift" has been relatively on time this year for the End of Summer, which is rare, either it happens too early in August, or otherwise is out of place, but it feels like Autumn is setting in.
I poured over in fact, some German Cherry Brandy today, also known as "Kirschwasser", and this is also traditionally used in making the Black Forest Cake which is also a major favorite of mine.
But today when I had it, because of the weather change, it didn't go down as well, whereas there was a really nice hot day last week where it was like the most refreshing thing ever and I had two glasses over the rocks.
The weather changes everything...
I can't take the alcohol anymore ...way too toxic.
ReplyDeleteI get it, though. People need an escape from this hell.
have you noticed how more people nowadays are unaware of their surroundings and engrossed in their own thoughts (or lack thereof?) or their brain can only focus on one task at a time? Sometimes I wonder if I'm invisible, like I'm in some kind of other dimension, yet when I succeed in grabbing their attention I'm pulled back into their timeline, or if their brains are fried from the vaccines and 5G and they can only focus on one thing at a time, like what's directly in front of them. They live in their own world and have minimal situational awareness. Also, I've noticed how so many people have such limited sensation in their skin, I always know immediately if some fly or insect lands on me or crawls toward me or touches me, even some fruit fly, yet I will be talking to someone and there will be some fly on their arm or even face and they don't notice it. Or maybe the wind will blow some hair or piece of debris on them and they don't notice right away. What is going on?
ReplyDelete@PSA,
ReplyDeleteDid you ever figure out what that glowing green that other girls saw in your eyes during a fit of rage was? Does that have anything to do with like "Berserker" rage or something like that. Just thought of this now.
@John Eston,
DeleteI think that's exactly what it was.
I've never really drank alcohol so I don't really know how it's like. Although to the best of my knowledge it doesn't really seem like it's really worth having unless you get it to an acceptable standard and quality which I presume you do anyway.
ReplyDelete>>I hate drinking alcohol in the winter, while a lot of people drink in the winter to "warm up", it just doesn't seem to settle right with me.<<
Winter has no right to even exist. Everything about winter is so retarded and it has no reason to even be here and you made a great point when you said that even the fact that winter exists is enough of a reason to never have kids among all the other multitudes of reasons.
@zikeKEK,
DeleteIt's crazy because when I start drinking it more again, I also quickly begin to tire of it quickly. Between the end of summer and a few things I was drinking, I'm like bored and sick of it already again...
I don't know how to describe it but from the very first sip, it's always this way, maybe it's our own senses telling us not to drink it, but alcohol (beer / wine / liquor) always just has this very dry feeling when you sip it that doesn't often have that refreshing feeling you get from any other beverage, even if other beverages are unhealthy in their own way.
Yeah I'm also not looking forward to the winter again either.
@PSA
DeleteI never really find that things really truly get "better and better" and there's always a limit to these things, but there is seemingly no limit to how sick and tired I get of things that I even once really enjoyed. Even with music I eventually just start to stop enjoying the same songs and pieces nearly as much and it's very difficult to replicate the "first time" you heard that song.
I don't know what people see in Winter, everything about it sucks and it just makes everything decay.
@zikeKEK,
DeleteEXACTLY. I mean , look at how our bodies are programmed, i.e. between chemicals and dopamine receptors and what not... You build a tolerance that "caps" your pleasure if you have too much caffeine or alcohol or anything, requiring more and more for the same effect.
But notice we NEVER develop a tolerance to pain... Not even slightly. In fact, the pain gets worse as we get older, even for small injuries!
It really makes existence annoying.
@PSA
Deleteyep, and even a small negative experience can legitimately ruin and essentially nullify all the good things that have happened that day and go and ruin your entire day.
Even when we were talking about something like this before you talked about how pizza boxes don't fit properly in the fridge and how that's annoying. Now I wouldn't say something like that would ruin my day but it's infuriating that these are things we have to deal with. But little inconveniences like that leave a sour taste in my mouth.
I can't wait to get out of school soon, literally fucking useless and I'm sick of dealing with my teachers and my classmates. That's another thing I hate dealing with, I feel awkwardness and dread when I have to deal with or interact with the vast majority of people in this school. And one thing I am slightly jealous about is the fact you didn't have to deal with so many autistic or otherwise people with other mental deficiencies in your youth. There are actually a LOT of autistic girls and sometimes initially I can't really tell if they are autistic or not because it can be more difficult to detect autism in women sometimes but a lot of them just have a "look" to them and you can tell by their voice, mannerisms and hobbies if they have autism or not. I was talking to one of my classmates who I am presuming is autistic, and her voice pitch raises and lowers so incredibly much when she speaks, and that kind of intonation is insanely difficult to listen to. Fucking creepy. And she always has this really blank expression on her face and smiles in an incredibly soulless way. I actually think she might have a crush on me or something. And she wears those same white translucent glasses that every single autistic girl wears.
In men I can easily tell if they have autism or not just from looking at them because they don't hide it well.
I think there also might be some crypto Tiny Hats in my school too.
I'm also sick of hearing people in my school saying "bro" even saying "bro" to girls or girls saying "bro" to other girls, it's weird. It's like a filler word or something that people use.
I get the impression that a lot of my teachers just don't like me even though I don't even cause nearly as many issues for them as some other people that they do actually like.
All the more popular kids in the school are basically just the exact same person because they all have the exact same interests and what's funny is people in my school mock me all the time for what I like and enjoy, but then suddenly they enjoy the same things they were mocking me for just because it became a "trend" and acting like they always were a fan.
Even one time I forgot where I was supposed to be as the room numbers in the school don't really match up with the rooms and I tried asking the guy who happened to be near me and I wasn't really looking at him and I asked him several times if he knew where the room number is and then I actually properly looked at him and I immediately noticed that he is "special" (has autism/ other mental disability) and he was completely ignoring me and then I just left but SERIOUSLY I felt so ENRAGED just being near the general area of someone with autism. I can barely tolerate being around them and I get angry just seeing them.
And now they are FUCKING EVERYWHERE. Sometimes it feels like I'm like the only person in my whole school without autism. Especially when they make those STUPID FUCKING NOISES.
And another thing that absolutely enraged me is the fact that if you look up "what is the sexiest accent" and read any article FUCKING IRISH ACCENTS are ALWAYS LISTED SOMETIMES BEING RANKED THE #1 SEXIEST ACCENT IN THE WORLD.
Winter isn't easy, but it is a good time to relax a bit because there is little incentive to go out.
ReplyDeleteKey to winter: good hat and gloves, good boots, long johns, 3 plus layers, and don't say anything about it.
@PSA
ReplyDeleteIf we take the most subhuman race and aggressively do eugenics amongst them...wouldnt it be possible to create a master race out of it since its just genetics that makes a race the 'master race'....
Or is there something spiritual in it?
No, you can't create a "master race" out of aggressive eugenics on the most subhuman people.
DeleteI would say there are spiritual/metaphysical or metacausal-conscious aspects to it. The true biological-metaphysical system is so designed to resist short-term attempts to control evolution for the good of future members of society (it wont help anybody now alive). Mutation and combination processes on the genetic level are subject to the self-determinative aspect of reality*. In the past, life was much harder for long periods of time. Yet, we still don’t have a happy master race, and we deal with a lot of problems. This could only be improved with regular killings of babies and mass suicides. *If there was something outside reality that was real enough to affect it, it would exist as a part or aspect of reality. So existence as a whole is self-determined. Non-determinism is logically forbidden because of information ex nihilo.
Delete@zikeKEK that makes zero sense...
Delete@Eike I meant it in a hypothetical scenario where there are no moral qualms and you are allowed to do whatever you want (apart from gene editing and stuff).
DeleteBy the way, your last sentence is somewhat thoughtful. I do agree with it. I have been wrestling with some thoughts and your last sentence reminded me of that.
Isn't it possible that the universe itself is a giant mass of consciousness?
@PSA I did a comment recently...and it just hasn't come for some reason....I believe the problem is on system's end and not yours..
ReplyDeleteGetting old (I am in my early 50s) is not fun...and I had no clue how much of a pain in the ass it would be.
ReplyDeleteBefore the age of 47 or so, I never had health issues except from some asthma for a year, as a child. Not a big deal, and I recovered quickly.
COV...that is what really got me bad. It is a terrible flu. and this flu took out my feet and back. The feet are still numb, but the back has recovered. Still, I think COV had a lot to do with my current health situation. It is just not a natural flu, right?
Anyway, aside from the physical pain, it has been the mental pain of living among so many god dam morons, and in a culture that is so weak and lack decency. Combline that with the FACT, that we have a Mystery Babylon Satanic cult that runs this planet. These sodep (backwards) are truly killing and eating things that we would never consider, as normal people. Yet, they do it. Get away with it. And then have the balls to tell us how to live!
I am done.
My answer right now and strong consideration for people is one word:
DEFAULT.
Default from the system. Everything. You are going to have less stress and enjoy life more. I can't wait to die, and I am waiting patiently for it to happen.
I just don't know what to do, because my overall health is actually good minus the minor foot neuropathy. But, the thing is, I am treating my feet everyday, with vitamin B, creams, oils, and a good diet. So, I might be around for another 30-40 years. As I have had great overall health, most of my life. I also don't drink or smoke, or live a crazy lifestyle. Also, the fact that I gave up on women, saves me a ton of stress. So, do the math. I have several more decades to go...and that is alarming to me...because the is just so much trash out there right now.
Did you check throughly for cancer? These days, cancer hits almost everyone in 100 different possible forms with 1000 of possible symptoms. The world is so toxic now, it’s unavoidable. It doesn’t even matter anymore which genes play a role or not.

ReplyDeleteDo you keep in mind—even during your daily routines and interactions with others—that you are an antinatalist and that everything is ultimately futile?
The vast majority put on a fake smile and pretend everything is fine, even though someone trained in psychology can see right through their charade.
Whether you’re shopping or ordering food—most of the people around us are NPCs, without a doubt; I go out of my way to avoid talking to them about anything, let alone paying them any attention.
If you’re looking for recommendations similar to Cioran, I’d suggest the author Thomas Ligotti and H.P. Lovecraft (cosmic horror).
