An Interesting Case of a Band Member Speaking Out Against Current Establishment Politics
It almost seems very "timely" for this to have occurred, particularly from a viewer the other day who also made some comments in the interest of how Political views have changed and evolved over time in the Punk Music scene.
Lo and behold, "John Lydon" who was actually in the Sex Pistols before, one of the big "heavyweights" at the time in the Punk scene, has come out to express his distate for "Woke" / "Leftist" Political views which are even prevalent in the band, and he even explains the effects this had on their production quality.
I really don't like using the term "Woke" and I suggest against using that word, even though I know what the word means, but if you even look up the origins of it, it comes from the Black Community and it means something opposite of the way it's now being used, since it was a term to reference Blacks who technically understood the NWO system and also other issues that plagued their own community, so it meant more about being "aware".
The use of "Woke" now is a symbol of those who have become part of Liberal, Leftist, Marxist worldviews, which is not originally how that word was used.
But essentially, the "Mind Virus" has infected so much of Music Scenes now over many years. It's not to say that there were not "Leftists" in the Punk or Goth Scenes even in earlier years, but the thing is they were just a faction. Not the sole voice or authority that they now have become.
And this is absolutely the case in much of the Punk and Goth subcultures today, maybe in Metal and other categories as well to a lesser extent, but of course most HEAVILY in the Pop Music culture, though that is to be expected.
But the fact is that the Liberal / Marxist Influences which permeate subcultures, makes bands stray completely from their original message even between views they hold, lyrics they write, and where these bands feel compelled to become outright "losers" just to get support from Record Companies, the Public or Media, even while compromising their own integrity.
For example, the obsession we saw in the last few years with so many bands promoting "COVID" Masking and Protocols, the George Floyd Protests and BLM, and then the Ukraine War. There are so many bands, even NON-AMERICAN bands who were all lining up to be part of these initiatives.
And this is why even particularly for the Punk and Goth scenes especially, which tend to be more underground, that they have lost a lot of character compared to how these scenes actually first spawned.
It's nice to see that John Lydon had the guts to speak up about it, rather than just blindly defending the band he was a part of, just for the sake of the Band's image.
You don't see a lot of this today.
Same with Police Departments, Court Systems and other Industries.
You almost never see anyone willing to detach themselves and speak out, even to their own detriment, to expose the lack of integrity or dirty truths with how these industries operate, because NPC's rather protect the institutions at all costs, and don't feel a sense of shame continuing to work, support and defend them.
Always liked that guy. He was honest about how much of an idiot Sid was too, abusing drugs. Regardless, JL still has people he answers to, especially living in Southern California.
ReplyDelete@PSA i have a truly difficulty understand why columbine school shooting happened. i can only recognize and sublimate violence against the jews and bdsm mistress shit and sometimes very slighty reactionary violence or micro violence to niggers and sandniggers
ReplyDeleteTristan, at this point, I do admit you are fucking hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI go on Reddit and I only see punks who support immigration, they say punk is about feminism, anti-homophobia...
ReplyDelete""""Punks""""
Delete@Charlote, Yeah I'd say about 99% of Punks nowadays or close to it, are probably Leftist, not even Anarchist. They love big government and the government agenda for the NWO. It's ironic how much Punks nowadays promote Feminism, because actually, early on in the Punk and Metal scene especially even more so than the Goth scene, these subcultures were very Chauvinistic, and rightfully so. When Women tried to assert their authority in these subcultures, they were never taken seriously, but they did gain more traction in the Goth scene than in Punk.
Delete@PSA lol i see a lot of women in instagram saying "do you want a goth mommy?"
Delete"be my good boy"
@PSA I really wanted to know some punks but yeah like you said 99% of them are lefties. I even thought about dressing like one, but I don’t know any punks and it’d probably feel weird
Delete@Charlote, Back in the 90's, Punks were still cool to hang out with, I was into a little of the Music but more Post-Punk which became Goth. Harvard Square in Boston was one of the hangouts. If you hang out there nowadays, you will HARDLY see any Punks anymore. All of them also have been displaced from being able to not afford living there, but also have grown older and distanced themselves from the public Scene. The so-called "Punks" you see today are cheap imitation trash who need their comfort animals and stuffed toys, etc.
DeleteUnfortunately, I think it's far past the point of no return, even mostly true with the Goth scene as well. The only place you might still find some who are not fully "Leftist" still are in the Metal scene, if you also like Metal. Don't get me wrong, a lot of Lefties in there too, but you will still find some hardcore types who just basically can't stand bullshit, and a lot of Metalheads also view Women as Second Class Citizens because they know it's true.
The Goth scene seemed to become more of a "diversion" from the Punk scene that got hi-jacked and used to be an outlet for the Women who did not get "accepted" in the Punk scene, and wanted to have their own little space, because the scene is unfortunately largely controlled by Women and the catering of it largely is focused on Women unlike how Punk or Metal have been in their infancy.
@Charlote,
DeleteAnd yeah, as far as the Goth Dommy Mommies, I'll assure you of one thing about those types. They actually really despise Men. Most of them do anyways, and the thing is if they identify as that in all seriousness, the chance of them actually being "fun" in the bedroom is very unlikely. They are just looking for a slave, in every sense of the word, and particularly one who will fork over money.
It would be one thing if they just wanted to have fun with the idea or fantasy or roleplay it, but the thing is they don't really do anything for Men, even if it's a goth guy. A lot of them also tend to be lesbians or bisexual.
Do you like RAC and NSBM? I listen alot
Delete@PSA Literally attwhores 😂
Delete@Charlote, You bet! I actually meant to respond on that you mentioned something about the RAC Movement. I actually also spoke about it on my former Wordpress sites, but I'm a big advocate for Rock Against Communism. In order for it to be effective, it just has to be seductive and for it to have a rebellious image. I also do listen to some NSBM and NS Punk Bands.
Delete@PSA The kind of music these leftists also subverted was Emo music. Real Emo is Emotional Hardcore/Post-Hardcore/Screamo, Emo was never a subculture, it's just music
Delete@Charlote,
DeleteActually I KNOW that Goatis would LOVE entertaining this discussion too, he probably knows a bit more about how the Hardcore or Screamo scenes were, I never got into them personally, but I will tell you that I've always hated Emo music at any rate. But Goatis once did a video trying to also explain the differences between real types of various Music including Punk, Screamo, Hardcore, Dubstep and others. I assume you might have seen that video before? He didn't really speak in it if I remember correctly but was showing examples. One Music genre I also really hate is "Nu Metal", so I never got into things like Slipknot and bands like those, which became really popular and trendy into the 90's and 2000's.
I'm much bigger into Industrial Metal, especially the Industrial Scene which is huge in Germany, and surprisingly still a lot of great stuff coming out like that, and I prefer the older Goth and Darkwave Music from the 90's and the earlier original Punk-Post stuff, bands like Skeletal Family, 45 Grave, etc.
@PSA Yes! It's a masterpiece Video. Emo comes from Emotional Hardcore. Emo(tion).
DeleteHe also has a blog where he posts various emo, screamo, hardcore, electronic, rock and other songs.
Why don't you like emo? (true emo) I like it because of the emotion, it's raw, energetic, I like the way they use music as a way of venting, themes like misanthropy, sadness, melancholy, etc.
I also hate nu-metal, they are so retard I only like Linkin Park, I absolutely HATE Slipknot.

@Charlote, I LOVE that you are a True and Loyal Fan of Goatis :)
DeleteI realize this is off topic, but would you say people who have kids use their children to loosh harvest in some way, and/or live off of their energy? I know kids are also a huge source of 'purpose' for most people, and it becomes what a lot of people live for.
ReplyDeleteWhenever I see someone living an extremely average slave life and bringing more kids than 2 into it- I'm just like... why??? Even 2 is too many- but lots of people aren't willing to accept their bad qualities, or reflect on if the suffering soulless life they have lived is what they want to give to their children. Often being explained away by- my child will have a better life than I had rhetoric.
They still can't bare the reality of not having a purpose in their lifetime, when we never had any.
And often at least one of those kids is going to have relationship troubles, end up lonely or around bad people and struggle, just for their parents fulfillment.
@T345,
DeleteAh yes, the reason parasitic types tend to do that because Children tend to have a pure, innocent energy, because they are youthful and have potent energy and less "tainted" things about them.
True, at 2 children it becomes even more challenging, because then jealousies and rivalry can develop, if even it's just a part of them maturing. Every new child adds more struggle and challenges to the mix, including trying to meet everyone's desires or demands and to not show favoritism.
Believe me when I tell, you the whole "My child will have a better life than me" is RARELY actually believed from those who speak it.
The reason they speak these words, is in trying to virtue signaling a decision that they themselves might be uncertain or insecure about in having the children.
Because people who are secure in having children, and are not intending to use their children, don't have an approach like they automatically know the outcome and future of what their children will be. It could be anything.
@PSA Interesting.... well that makes a lot of sense,
DeleteI always found people who cared so much about children and 'lovinggggg' them or calling themselves 'good with children' as cringey and icky. Like their trying to look good, but really they just love the attention kids give them.
I'm not surprised you see the most parasitic types having tons of children- I'm sure they use them for attention, money, etc, I've heard no shortage of stories from the victims of 'parents' like these.
Your blog has influenced me to look into a lot of anti-natalist views recently, and on r3dit too- and this thought just triggered in me when I saw Goatis's new video about that slave British man- when he mentioned he had 3 kids, I felt angry, because I can't imagine that guy offering anything good or special to his kids, muchless thinking it would be a good idea to create a surplus of them with that +1, and on what basis???? I'm sure his reasons are shallow, and don't live up to anything that would justify putting a human through whatever 'life' he offers them. Already with the brain drain that I'm sure is happening in this world, with people either obsessed with the system, or parasites and NPCs mostly being the one's reproducing, I hate to see more NPC knuckle heads, living depressing slave lives in a depressing slave country multiplying.
And how convenient for mommy and daddy! By the time their children are adults, and no longer cute and full of energy to feed off- they don't have to care about them because they are supposed to work and earn money and suffer for themselves because that's life, tough love kid!
Yes, actually the only child families I know of seem to be more chill, and although not perfect depending on the parenting style, there seems to be atleast- a lot less drama.
This life is already hard enough though.
Also PSA, do you know why different countries have different vibes to them?? I feel like my mood completely changes based on where I'm living, even if I had not changed.
ReplyDeleteIronically, living in the UK I felt the most negative and depressing energy aroun me.
It changes from where I am and what season it is, but most of my life in an American city has felt empty, soulless, and even when things were relatively 'peaceful' in my life, I always felt a weird eary depression and doom feeling here. It also depends on which part of the USA I'm in, and what season of the year it is.
I really liked the vibe when I was in Northern Italy.
I also have gone to a south American country, and life just felt more vibrant, fulfilling, and warm there.
@T345,
DeleteA lot of the history and activities that have occurred on the landmass leave a "residual" energy that lingers over them for starters. But also, there is much to be said about the Ambience and energetic effect from the common people and activities that flourish in the land of any given country, in having that effect.
It's funny with what you mention about the UK, because I hear SO many people say the same things about it constantly. I know another girl who once told me that the UK brings out some of the worst sides of her and that there is something about the place that is just very dark and dismal (to say nothing of the weather) and that she never remembers being that way when she was back in her homeland.
Also, never forget that the UK is also a hotbed for all kinds of Global Agendas, it has been for a while, between Satanic Families and Rituals, Secret Societies, Banking Headquarters such as the BOE, and other major power players including the Royal Family.
In modern times, at least since the fall of the Roman Empire, Britain and then eventually America had become the most significant and domineering Imperial systems of all time, having influence in almost every corner of the Globe and where the presence of the Politics and Systems were felt all over the world.
Those facts, along with how vast their Empire was, is how the saying "The Sun Never Sets On The British Empire", because no matter what time of day it was where the Sun was shining, it so happen to hit some type of Colony or Territory that Great Britain had influence in.
Almost all agendas we live in today, things like the Balfour Declaration, or even Feminism and many other things, have spawned from the British Empire.
@PSA Woah very interesting, that makes me wonder what I was picking up on...
DeleteThese were all in Scotland too btw. Someplaces felt sligtly lighter than others. Like I would rate Perth as having the less heavy energy but there was something about it that I can't explain too. Dundee in the middle, and Glasgow had the most depressing and negative energy for me. Edinburgh had a mix of vibes. Actually the best place I felt good vibes in was on the coast of cornwall.
London always has a heavy energy, and fet eary, creepy and dark eachtime I went.
Once went to Southern Germany and Berlin- very different and lighter energies than Britain, I like them more and feel less uncomfortable. I also saw more beautiful architecture and scenery there.
Are there any places you've picked up on having a distinct energy?
@PSA Yes! I'm actually surprised to hear so many people agreeing with me about the UK!
DeleteI thought maybe it was just me- because I never heard this opinion in the mainstream, if anything growing up the media showed the UK in a very good & interesting light.
But it feels very depressing, negative, and boring when you're there.
Yes British culture drew me into a short but extreme stunt with alcohol, that I doubt I would have ever done on that level if I was still in America.
Coming home from the UK always felt like a weight lifted off of my head- I actually dreaded going back after the break ended, when it was usually the opposite way around when I went on vacation to foreign countries in South America, central or southern Europe.
I met immigrants from the middle east and pakistan in the UK, and they seem much more dead inside than the on'es I meet in the USA. I also was talking to one, and she subtly explained to me how she's basically trapped here because she had kids and has to wait for them to complete their education here to leave!! She tried to put on a smile on her face and act friendly with me, but you could tell she was depressed inside. I can't imagine how worse it must feel for them coming from the middle east and some vibrant culture with good weather.
@T345, Definitely not just you! And I'm telling you all this, from never even having step foot in the UK myself... But just from the stories I hear, and it's multiple people who've more or less reported the same thing, and it usually is something to the tune of "Not Feeling Themselves" or living who they really are while they are living, working or studying in that country. It's just really a negative, dismal place, and even from talking to anyone from the UK, they always have a very depressing sound in their voice in their vocal cadence.
DeleteThe UK may have had better days going for it in times past, but it's absolutely a wretched place now and it has no chance for recovering to anything it once was in the past. Too bad they are not a more "decent people".
The thing at least in Germany, at least compared to a country like the UK, is that even while as Germans we are very factual about things, we are also "fact-of-the-matter", so there is at least a little bit more open-mindedness I guess in terms of when you are dealing with situations there compared to the dread of the UK. Germans naturally are allergic to bullshit. However, the Americans hold the cards for having the reputation of being the greatest lovers of bullshit, even FAR more so than the British.
But there is just something very mechanical about the British to where they almost cannot face anything directly if it sounds angry, passionate or aggressive, and their people have to contend with the fact that most of their own population prefers to be sellout to foreigners like the horrible Pakis and other immigrants they have there now.
I would imagine that the same negative effects of that country affect the immigrants in the same way, because corruption in the UK along with so many other issues there are at record highs. I also find that there is a VERY strange type of very sporadic aggression in British people generally, and this leads me to believe it is deeply rooted in their inability to naturally express emotion, constantly holding their emotions back, and heavy drinking culture. You can see the example of that when Goatis ate a raw squirrel I believe it was in the UK at a Vegan Event, with how aggressive one of the guys got, it was absolutely horrific actually to think that someone can even get that offended and aggressive like that over someone eating a raw animal.
Here in New England, people are also a lot the way you describe as well from your experience in the UK, because New England is an EXTREMELY Parochial, Insular region with a lot of tensions between people here.
@PSA I have pretty much had a rough start to life because I was born in the UK. My life could have gone better had I not been born on this shithole island.
DeleteI don’t feel proud to be British, I instead take my pride in being a white European. I understand that my country is extremely parasitic at its very core and I want nothing to do with it.
I have always wanted to leave this country and was heavy set on doing that. Whilst Spain isn’t an ideal country to live in, my teenage mind wanted to leave the boiling water, which is the UK, in the hopes of a better life in Spain. I understood I would never be respected in their Spanish lands, and I would always be seen as a foreigner, but this option was a lot better than slaving away in the UK.
COVID happened and I lost the motivation to escape the shit, aswell as also having an uncertainty about my future. I honestly thought I wouldn’t make it to 2025 due to how severe the government was pushing their agenda back in 2020.
It’s absolutely disgusting the way the UK treats its people. Heavy taxation, antiwhiteism, anti-male, immigration beyond limits! I hate this place. Even drinking pints of beer at the pub is easily 20% of your wages if you do it regularly.
In terms of the negative energy the UK landmass holds due to history, I am very intrigued about how this works as I have never heard of a concept like this before. The UK has had lots of wars on its land, so are you saying these wars from 100s of years ago, can negatively impact my psyche? Also how far away from a so called bad area do you have to be for it to no longer affect a person? I live 30 miles away from London. I don’t believe we have had any wars near where I live.
@Kyle,
DeleteUnderstood. It makes sense, considering everything, so long as I guess that you realize how much of losers most people are from the land, but I'm sure it's obvious. The same is true of course in the US, because the US had spawned from the UK, so it shares very similar trends, behaviors and mindsets, and especially here in New England much more so than the Southern or Western parts of the USA, but there still are similarities because of the English and Celtic influences.
It's too bad, but if England did enter the mutual agreements with Germany both in WWI or even in WW2, both Nations would have prospered and have been better off in the long run, along with a stable Europe at least for some time to come.
I really see no future anywhere in the West at this point, and I know of certain European countries which are destined to fall or be unlivable sooner than others... For example, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, all of these countries are going to be massively destroyed. Even Spain I don't see as a viable nation.
Most of Europe is completely done and finished totally, just they are living populations who are still in denial of it. The Eastern parts of European will slightly outlive Western and Central Europe, but maybe only by about 10 years or so. Maybe the conditions of the fall they experience will be somewhat less harsh, because many of the Eastern parts of Europe have all been relatively poor, or at least are used to living that way and are more seasoned to deal with things.
There are very few Englishmen I've ever found who truly hold their weight in gold as a person, but I could suggest a Man to you who I'd recommend studying if you haven't heard of him. An author by the name of "David Irving". Maybe you've heard of him, I have met him in person as he has done many great lectures and written many books on things relating to England and Germany with the World Wars. A very interesting figure to say the least. But I wouldn't consider him on the level of Goatis or a Marc Faber.
@PSA yes Europe is totally done for. I can imagine if England entered the mutual agreements with Germany rather than going to war with Germany, Europe would be very strong right now. I don’t have much knowledge on WW2 but I understand that the allies are the bad guys and the downfall or Europe is down to them.
DeleteDo you think you would have enjoyed your life if you lived in 19th century Prussia? However I know you absolutely detest the laws of this existence, so even existing in the 19th century probably wouldn’t be enough for you to feel like life is enjoyable.
I have had a brief look at David Irving and Marc Faber. It’s no surprise that Irvings works are censored. As for Faber, is he a good figure to follow on economic matters? This may be a silly question but have you met up with Goatis in person? If so you are incredibly lucky because I could talk to that man for hours. Just like yourself too, Prussian. The two purest humans out there. However I must say, I do like the anonymity you practice as it gives your blog a natural allure. In this crazy world it is also best to stay on the anonymous side of things, we have seen how badly Goatis is being attacked by the NPCs.
This might be random, but I've noticed that a lot of influential & significant German figures and movements originate around the East side of the country, and I was wondering if this has anything to do with their higher concentration of gothic admixture(ostro, visi, and goth). And of course, Prussia also originated in East Germany.
ReplyDeleteAre these tribes of any significance to you PSA or anyone here?
Meanwhile... countries like Britain and the netherlands and belgium.... well, you can see how that ended up
@T345, Well just to be sure what we're talking about, the Ostrogoths or Visigoths are something completely different than the Goth or Punk Scenes with no connection whatsoever, but the Punk & Goth scenes originally had started in the UK, but later had taken root in Germany.
DeleteBut as far as anything "Prussian" goes, we have the Old original Prussians, and the Germanic ones who later were in the Crusades.
I have both Germanic (Prussian) & Lithuanian Ancestry because I had ancestors which were descend from the Germanics who had influence over Lithuania from times past.
