I'm reaching a whole new level of irritation with "AI" and it's only 2026...
It's blatantly so obvious by now how well over 50% (as has been discovered) of Internet content is now being exclusively created by AI, even down to opinions and reviews and comments, not just pictorial or motion media, so it really isn't hard to see how rapidly this will take over in just the next 3 years alone to where almost all content will be AI generated.
It's truly annoying and traumatizing in a way, because ANY thing that catches the eye, or whatever it is you are looking for, or even if you are trying to sort through reviews on something, you have to always keep in mind and waste precious energy to determine whether it's from "AI".
I'm seriously not going to last that long with the Internet like this, and it's really doing a disservice to anything serious.
all these AI-written websites have made searching/googling impossible. and if you want to go back to a website that you suddenly remember once visiting and try to find it again, you can't even find anything remotely relevant, it's just hundreds of pages of slop, unless you happened to save the bookmark years ago. and of course you didn't, because back then you could find it easily and repeatably, so there was no need to save it. search engines became shit in 2020, even before the explosion of AI-written websites.
