I guess BloodSteal has beat Goatis to the WiFi with a Laptop In Nature! :D

Primal AF, I'm quite impressed! Talk about evolution, Haha...

  1. Ideal, only problem for me, would be my laptop overheating in the sun, bugs annoying me, overheating myself, and you would still need WiFi, which has EMFs, you could figure out some kind of Ethernet setup, but since your already grounded WiFi is acceptable.

I think I’m honestly gonna incorporate this into my future computer use methods at some point, the image is so comical, it’s like someone photoshopped a modern desk setup out into woods. I’m all for it.

Have you seen his last video? He said something like he was going to Sell everything and live in a van, and drive across Europe, and sustain himself through YouTube or something online.

Before he said he was gonna try and save up for a farm or something. But maybe he changed his mind because, what you own ends up owning you. Anyway it’s quite interesting and I am excited to see how it works out for him.

    1. @John Eston,

Haha, yeah for sure, this would absolutely be an unsustainable practice because not only the heat and the fact that the Sun makes visibility horrible on screens, but the UV rays of the Sun would destroy that laptop in no time...

Once again though on that note, it kind of just proves something that doesn't make sense about this existence... Anything "manmade" or that we create in general if you notice, Nature is seeking to destroy it, constantly.

As much as I love the Sun, the Sun is also extremely destructive, it causes colors and materials to fade, crack and rot.

Pave a driveway, nature IMMEDIATELY starts its actions to attack the asphalt or cement as it works to use its forces to degrade it over time.

I always would think of these things when I was young, and I always had a problem this world even on the basis of those things.

I actually didn't check BloodSteal's lastest videos, I haven't watched his content in months and had just noticed that on my feed, I haven't been online hardly at all lately because I'm so annoyed with using the internet, but I will have to check that out.

Van life is DEFINITELY not fun or romantic like people make it seem, but I guess he is an aspiring "Digital Nomad" as they call them!

I wouldn't sell my stuff to live like that, it's not worth it at all. And I'd also argue it's not even worth it to live up to start a farm or homestead.

The only thing I can see is if a community of some kind is willing to take you "in" as "one of theirs" and where you play some sort of role, but outside of that, it's really just not worth it.

Especially in the Post-COVID world. I pretty much also abandoned all interest altogether in living off the grid or homesteading because it's just going to become unfeasible, especially with where the world is heading, and the thing too is that farmers are going to be some of the first people hunted down by marauders when shit falls down.

It's kind of funny because you have a whole community of preppers who spend their life collecting "seeds" for planting, when the thing is they will be the first targets when people starve, and that all the grown foods only strip your body of nutrion making you hungrier during a famine.

      What a world, eh.

  2. @PSA,

Preppers are so funny in the sense that they invest so much time and energy just to prepare to survive a “apocalypse”, which is not even worth living in to begin with.

They buy so much seeds and years of stored food in cans or packaging, that probably taste like crap, and will definitely deteriorate your health if you only live off that.

Homesteading and farming just seems like way too much work, and now in the world, this is definitely not the time to be doing something like that.

Preppers cling to life, I think this makes them NPCs. A lot of them are ex military, and they do things like wrap their radio in a faraday bag in case the US gets EMP’d. It’s just such as waste of time, effort, in my opinion. It’s honestly foolish. It’s meaningless.

I do think it’s worth it to own firearms at least. But all that other nonsense is a total waste.

BloodSteal is so like naive, he’s close to my age, he’s trying to get his life started, so I’m really just interested to see how it goes for him. I know that when you try to do different things to make your life better, you end up disappointed. That’s how it goes.

    1. @PSA,

I know right!? Most of the Preppers in USA and Canada are that way.

I prefer a middle-of-the-road approach, because in all honesty or seriousness about a survival situation, you aren't going to really be able to plan much beyond maybe 6 months to a a couple of years AT BEST assuming everything is favorable... But these Preppers will put all their cash and become paranoid and obsessive about planning for every contingency. When the chances are, the scenario that will actually play out, none of their contingency plans will cover.

The only reasonable thing I can see is having some stored rations for the sake of surviving in a transition or maybe to get somewhere, but at some point, it's just not worth it to remain alive and to put all one's energy into survival while sacrificing any fun and pleasure in the meantime, to what extent we can still enjoy anything.

But there is a whole community of preppers out there who are basically shaming anyone for spending money on fun things or trips and making them feel guilty for not putting all their money into rations.

Preppers cling WAY, WAY too much to life. The 21st century is not livable like before the 20th century when there were FAR less people, less disease and problems and food was more safe.

Today you want to go out and live in the wild, many people will get lead poisoning or some kind of contamination from something.

And yes, Homesteading is a LOT of work. And it isn't cheaper, that is actually the main dealbreaker about it, because when all is said and done, while you are not working 80 hours at some dead-end slave job, you are working 80 hours on the farm, dealing with all kinds of challenges including ever-shifting climate behavior, depleted soil, more pests and other issues, most homesteaders do not have any extra money laying around and nor are they saving any money...

A lot of them I've known, still do "hours" worth runs to local Home Depots and Walmarts to get supplies, because they can't live without them in the woods.

When you really think deep about it, over such a long period of time, the Governments and Corporations have really priced the little Man out of the market on every notion of his life, from even trying to pursue self-sustenance, because the government subsidizes certain things that you buy through mainstream society while making it more expensive for you to farm or be independent outside of Urban life.

Also, in my travels in many more recent years, many Farmers I've come across are major drug addicts or have depression /suicidal ambitions (not that I blame them, but it's just the point), and they deal with all kinds of other issues and challenges that basically are pushing them to their limits.

Honestly, I rather muster the energy to end my life also then still try to survive.

I'm all for the notion of self-sustenance and being independent from corporations and government, but the caveat to things is that it's a huge problem and detriment when life is unfeasible or more expensive to be independent.

It doesn't even make sense either. But this is the system we live in.

It is interesting to see though how many people are still so optimistic and have big, major plans in this world.

I hate to dim their fires, but the fact is that the world is a completely different place now than even the 90's or early 2000's.

    2. These prep foods are processed trash, and will do more harm than good.

      Just live it out.

If you really have to, then you are going to find the food sources from nature, and put yourself in that position by living in areas where that "good meat" is available...which means getting out of the big cities.

Seriously, I am tired of these larger cities. I am on a plan to move out and stay out...because there are more options in rural areas with better water and better foods in nature, like deer and rabbits and chicken coups that are easier to set up. Also, the raw milk sources are more plentiful.

Cold weather is definitely an issue with smaller towns that have these things, but that is a very small inconvenience compared to these positives.

That guy on the computer, in nature, looks look a nut with that set up. It is not reasonable to think that is going to be the way to go in your life. You need some contact. And, I know the perfect towns to live a better life in nature. That idiot hasn't figured it out, and still loves the computer. SMH.
