What Angers Me Most About NPC's In Modern Times, with their Perspectives of Supermarkets & Restaurants

As I've continued to explain to you the behavior of NPC's and the fact that they have no Internal Compass or Standards, always going with "consensus" of others, or by limited knowledge or experience, especially when it comes to the American NPC's, there is one thing that bothers me so much...

And it is that I have seen SO MANY Restaurants and Supermarkets, either which USED to be good or even "average", and if they were an Average Restaurant, they got Average reviews even by the NPC's prior to "2020", and if it was a Great restaurant, they also did not get anywhere near the amount of Stars and High Ratings they deserved.

What changed after COVID!?

2 Star Restaurants and Supermarkets started getting 4 and 5 Star Ratings if they were Average, and the Good places which were 4 Stars, have been BUMPED UP to 5 Stars...

EVEN AFTER...

Cutting back portions MASSIVELY

Using CHEAPER, lower quality ingredients, even Pizza Restaurants using that shitty ass cheese that lacks any drippy grease and is only one molecule away from being actual "plastic".

RAISING their prices massively.

SERVICE is also lackluster at almost all restaurants now, especially compared to 2019 and earlier, which both Good and Bad restaurants had MUCH better Service and Staff.

Any "Good" staff in a lot of places, has either quit, been laid off or moved on after the Shake-up of the 2020 Event.

You cannot even vaguely trust reviews anymore for places because of how these NPC's upvote everything, and it really irritates me because I see a lot of places that went downhill or got super greedy after the stupid Plandemic, and it's like, these assholes now feel "ENCOURAGED" and "EMBOLDENED" to get away with selling food slop because they realize that customers don't know the difference or seem to still like it, so they've continued with the trend of selling garbage.

It really pisses me off, because you just know that these NPC's are sealing the fate of this existence by that, and it shows just how much ever determined they are to promote Lower Standards.

Even the SHIT restaurants and supermarkets were 1000's of times better before "COVID.

They CANNOT, ABSOLUTELY CANNOT be better in 2025/2026 as they were in 2019.

But these NPC's fucking think otherwise.

    Another annoying and common occurrence is these bad restaurants and serivices (ike Airbnb, etc)...is that they have the balls to ask for 5 star reviews all the time

    Fuck you.

    If your service is good, I will rate it high.

    But, there service/product/food is bad,and they still want the 5 star.

    It does amaze me how poorly run so many of these restaurants and supermarketsks are run. For example, I am now at the habit of NOT buying things just because they are on sale (I make exceptions for ribeye steaks if it is the right store)...because I find that is something is on sale (happens a lot with ice cream), then there is usually something wrong with the food.

    As for restuarants, the ballls they have on the prices is scary. I guess people don't give a fuck and will still spend on these terrible restaurants. Even fast food is going for $20-25 dollars a meal these days. It hapeened to me at 2 popular taco restaurants this month. It is just too much money for terrible food.

    I am done with going out of my way to go out to eat. I only go if I am on the road and I am in the need to just sit down and relax

    Otherwise, fuck these greedy restaurant owners.

    I could probably get over the NPCs if they were just more upfront, honest and NOT SO FUCKING TWO-FACED EVEN IN REGARDS TO PETTY SHIT.
