The Truth About "Angela Benedict" as a Goth

I'll use the video above just as a "supplement" for this entry, but, I have definitely involved myself in the past in speaking about this girl formerly in the WordPress days, and if there are some of you who also happen to be involved in the Scene, you probably wonder about the deal with this girl, because she is actually for better or worse (more the latter), a very iconic part in it and is featured in many of the subculture outlets from Magazines, to Fashion Designers and other things.

The truth is that, I have a very complicated approach with this person because she is ultimately a very evil, cruel and deceptive person underneath everything, albeit extremely wise, well-spoken and knows her shit about everything Goth.

But she is like what I would call a "half & half" person, because it's strange, she is partly a fake person and part real in the sense that she does listen to Goth Music and speak correctly about it.

Though, she is a major problematic person, and has unfortunately, afforded herself a position of being a "Gatekeeper" in the community, and not one worthy to hold such a position on it, and of course in case you guessed it, she is all about promoting the Leftist agendas and LGBTQ nonsense and other degenerate crap that most "Modern Goths" have gotten into.

The other really weird thing about this girl, is that I swear that she was either born into the same timeline as me with personality or something outside of my actual age, because what's weird is like for example while so many of my life experiences align with someone like "Goatis", this is more or less what I have found about her especially in the Music scene, we all like nearly the exact same things and have the same favorite songs and nearly identical, word-for-word things we are into and not just because of the Goth culture either, it's either in general.

But here is the kicker. Despite all the things we have in common and down to the same thought processes, even on the level of morbidity, we would not get along at all and even do not get along at all, and she is basically like an "Archnemisis" of mine despite being on that same timeline with me, we do not see eye to eye as people at all.

In fact, she launched a campaign against me when I called her out in a tirade against her pathetic nonsense in defending "Trans" types and she also promotes the whole BLM Movement.

The main reason she landed herself though into the Life situation she has, is because she grew up with a Musical family, and also in New York which afforded her the ability to find and make all the right connections with the right people.

But the bitter part about it, is that she is so undeserving about nearly everything she has in her life, and it's what I resent about her the most, because underneath everything, she is actually one of the most horrible human beings out there, not even joking, when you really come to see what she is about.

She is very intelligent, very pervasive and covers nearly everything, so I certainly cannot fault her on any of that, while it is almost impossible to ever find her wrong about things she knows about within the Goth Community, she of course does have her own agendas within it and promotes all the degeneracy and issues that actually plague the community in modern times.

One other thing I really don't like about her though is the fact that she tries to "covert" people into the scene, which is something you don't do. In fact, that was initially something that was "forbidden" in the early days of things, and actually was largely a dispute too when there came the whole thing about the Goth scene forming versus the Death Rockers, and that's why to this day that most of the Death Rockers are the ones who keep the original 80's element of what spun off from the Post-Punk scene.

Sure, many other styles emerged out of it such as Darkwave and Industrial and so on, but the real problems with the Scene starting to fall apart, all seemed to happen when Grunge Music started to become influential everywhere. Grunge Music didn't influence "Goth" Music, but the problem is the degeneracy that emerged from the Grunge scene, definitely did.

It's one thing if you invite someone along who happens to automatically gravitate to the Music or you invite them into a club or a show to see how they respond or whether they "vibe" with the Music, but to go activately out of your way to bring people who obviously "aren't it", especially tasteless trash, is just a no-no.

I will write more about this girl again sometime in the future to dig deeper on everything about her, or get into anything wants to know in case they had doubts or wondered what my opinion is of her, but if I could sum her up as a person, she reminds me of the "Mayor of Halloween Town" in the Nightmare Before Christmas Movie, figuratevely. Because she is both a real and a fake person at the same time.

Real in the sense that she is well-informed and intellectual, but on the Fake side, she gravitates towards fake people and not a nice or decent person in general and wants to promote all the "bad" things to be part of this subculture...

One thing I'd suspect about her though, is that if she didn't even half of the connections and influences around her that are always at her beck and call, that she wouldn't even be half the person or the influence she is today in terms of experiences, status and people she knows and her activism in the scene.

It's just really too bad that all the wrong people hold the cards in everything infuential, for the most part, but once again, that is what the Matrix that we live in is all about.

One thing that made me think to bring all this up however is because of the similarties of our personalities, and one thing that ticked me off (because we hate each other) in the video is how much she kept bringing up about "Bass Lines", and the Bass in general in Music, and that's been one of my "biggest things" that I obsess about, and I really believe she is like some "witch" tapping into these these things of mine just to piss me off, unless she is just somehow in some strange way stalking my online presence somehow and doing it because of that. I've been talking a lot about it lately in other areas online, and it just seems weird how she is all talking about it suddenly.

Because you rarely hear Women talk about liking "Bass" or passionate all that much about it or Music in general, granted she is into the Music, but if you know where I'm coming from and you see a person you heavily dislike, then you probably can relate to why it angers me.

I'm pretty sure her Man isn't all anywhere near as obsessed about "Bass".

It's not just me who is not a fan of her as a person and sees through her hypocrisy however, because the presence is all over online with people who constantly call her out and know who and what she really is about.

It's thanks to people like her, that the scene keeps getting taken over my Emo / E-girl and E-boy brats and losers from mainstream society who are NOT true to the scene at heart, and even when a legitimate event or club opens, that club eventually gets taken over with the Leftist Agendas after some time, and then it turns into a safe space and pretty much no longer becomes an open and social venue for Goths of all walks of life who want to chill out, have some good drink to chat over some great Music.

No, it becomes a LESBIAN LANDWHALE FEST, and gets taken over by the most unsightly of creatures.

Since I stopped going to Goth clubs pretty much entirely by this time, I've relegated myself to ONLY attending occassional and specifically more "Post-Punk / Death Rocker" themed concerts and bands.

No more DJ club nights for me. I'm tired of it and I'm too old for it, and the trash that starts taking over those places is too much for me.

At least this way you can still encounter real people in the scene.
