And I could post hundreds, thousands, probably even millions of videos that are out there, and I really hate that TikTok and these skits / shorts or whatever have become a "thing".

But it goes back to what I was saying, like this shows you stereotypical NPC behavior where they lack any creativity and seem to just throw shit together that makes NO SENSE...

For example, in the video above...

What is the message they are trying to convey!?

Am I supposed to feel compelled to come down and try their coffee shop after watching it!?

Are they really advertising their product that makes me feel compelled to try it!?

Is that obnoxious CGI girl at the end, supposed to seem as "cute" or "funny"!?

Was it really worth it to put all the many minutes worth of planning, editing and organizing to create a stupid 9 second clip video, and do they think that it will attract more customers!?

These type of videos have just gotten so much worse since the "COVID" lockdowns, and the fact that they are willing to spend SO MUCH time, effort, editing and energy on posting disturbing and useless content, is a direct reflection on who they are as people and their "product" or "image" that they are trying to sell.

I'm really just at loss for trying to explain or justify this nonsense, and it angers me a lot too because these are the type of people shaping the future and what we have to endure here, all why they serve to be a drain on resources for the rest of us.

Then you also have people who will waste time and post nonsense like this:


There are countless other videos too.

I've seen ones for cafes and restaurants where they will film a "pretend scene" of restaurant workers pretending to flirt with their customers and another employee (girl) getting jealous, or wasting coffee drinks by squeezing out an iced coffee drink made in the hand over "pretend anger" or just a general waste of items.

Once again, thinking that it's all "humor" or "cute" as a way to promote their business!?

They really have run out of ideas and sunk LOW, and it makes me sick.

    I too am getting incredibly sick of the “absurd = funny” humour. But it’s perfect for sites like Instagram or Tiktok where you are mindlessly scrolling content and don’t really give a shit if the content quality is terrible or not because you’re in an altered state of mind.

    These videos are a product of the times. Do you think anyone would be creating shit like this in the 1950s?

    The first video is so pathetically lazy and cringe, and that humor makes zero sense, the only vibe I got from it was “boomers trying to dip their toes into zoomer TikTok culture, while knowing nothing about it, because they thought it would be a good thing to do for marketing their cafe!”

    Now that chair has to be disposed of, and since the wine is stored in what seems to be a plastic jug, it will leech microplastics into any drink. Notice how he smashes stuff in the beginning with his hand and does unnecessary actions to try and make the video more “satisfying” which further induces the brainrot. It’s all a game.

    Also, I wouldn’t want a girlfriend who has a Facebook page where I am the husband and act as a “performative male” which is what I see when I checked out Taylor Black’s page.
