I'm not exaggerating... Almost every person in their Upper 40's and Above, checks in with me about my non-existent "Eyeglasses"
And this is particularly becoming more noticeable now as the Population is Aging rapidly with fewer younger people, but I nearly get asked this question constantly by people in their 40's and older, because they assume I must wear some sort of "eyeglasses" now and then or that I must be wearing contacts.
In fact, they nearly insist upon it that I must, if not at least using "reading eyeglasses" from time to time, and when I inform them that I do not, they cannot believe that someone my age has nearly perfect 20/20 vision.
When they discover that I tell them I don't, you will not believe what kind of resentment and disbelief seems to show up in how they begin acting around me when I tell them later, because they are in total disbelief that I don't somehow have some eye problems by now.
It truly is amazing, and I'll bet these same people were the ones for decades eating "carrots and onions" who were told for years that these were the magic foods for your eyesight into your later years, while I hated carrots and ate steaks and other meat almost as if it were going out of style.
I'm so thankful to have at least "chartered" the right course of history in navigating this life, relying on my own senses instead of "information", because some of the information we were fed, was at times, almost sounding biblically truthful to the point of making us feel guilty for consuming too much meat, and as if we were never eating enough vegetables.
I ate tons of meat before Goatis, but I went crazier once discovering Goatis with even more sure-fire confidence that we can eat as much as we want, and I really truly believe it's been my overall health to thank for from the meat-eating.
Both my father and my grandparents had eventually lost vision and had relegated themselves to wearing eyeglasses, even while there is no particular family history in my family of having eyesight problems.
All 3 of them though had something in common. As they all aged and as appetites tend to get "smaller" when we age, all of them first sought "meat" as the main thing to remove or reduce from their diets, and notably I began to even see them change after they reduced their meat intake.
But they continued the same with the carbs.
It's absolutely amazing how much our health is being ruined by food, and the level of propaganda that has convinced people that they are simply not getting enough vegetables, grains and carbs in their diets.
Those 3 family members, lost good portions of their eyesight in their life, though less to a degree with my grandparents, but all of them had reduced their meat consumption and fat intake considerably.
I am thankful that I still ate those 3-5 steaks I did weekly long ago for years, defying all the nonsense and guilt-tripping I've been told by family and friends how I'm on my way to a heart attack.
For the record, my blood pressure has been always typically fine, but actually much better than ever once I followed what Goatis promoted years ago, I automatically noticed my blood pressure naturally went down as it is compared to eating too many carbs. And high blood pressure is most certainly bad for the eyes.
Many younger people probably would underestimate the frustration you can feel when you can't see or hear something properly, but that these older people who did not eat well in their lives failed to realize how it would become like, all because they were scared away from meat for all these years.
Let me tell you, the anger and resentment towards me that people show, is startling because of their frustration.
I used to have perfect 20/20 vision all the way until I turned an adult then my vision deteriorated. It happened pretty quickly shortly after COVID, I developed Myopia and a few eye floaters appeared. I was malnourished as a child and grew up looking at screens. Like Goatis said in his video about healing eyesight, looking at objects or screens very close to the eyes can cause Myopia. He recommended that we stop that, and look at things in the distance to reverse the damage. Do you think Myopia can be reversed through diet and looking at things far away?
ReplyDeleteMy own Myopia isn’t too bad, however it definitely is noticeable when I do wear glasses, as the improvement in vision is very noticeable and reminds me of the vision I used to have a few years ago. I never wear my glasses as it just seems unnatural and silly. I would rather see naturally even if it is blurry. Luckily it hasn’t caused any troubles in my day to day life. The wearing of glasses could actually make the eyes worse. I just really hope that reducing screen time and looking at far landscapes in nature will really reverse the damage done and strain that reading on phone screens has caused.
