Goatis Even Addressed Patience In His Latest Videos!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJPcHGMsag0

As soon as I saw he had done a video on discussing about how Patience is weakness, it immediately put a smile on my face, since I have talked about the subject as well, so I am finally glad he did his own take on it!

The truth is true, Patience only makes you weak and actually depletes your energy even if you don't realize it, during the time you are anticipating something, no matter what it is, it could even be something as simple as some new product you want.

It largely wasn't until the Christians came around that this idea was sold that "Patience is a virtue", because indeed, our animalistic instincts make us want something right away.

  1. Yeah, I was excited when I saw that, because I thought that's exactly what Prussian talked about. It all falls under the same category of "Self-improvement" - Cold Ice Baths, Being Patient, Putting others needs before yours, No-Fap, Semen-Retention, etc. It's all things that loser men fall victim to. You don't see Women doing any "self-improvement" bullshit. Because a lot of what these Men do, they do it all for the Women, because for one, they don't think they're good enough, and they think it makes them the more masculine and better man. It's been instilled into them that they aren't good enough for women, so they begin to self-destruct by stripping themselves of their dignity/honor/masculinity and basing their lives around being "good-enough" for society and especially women, by sacrificing their comfort and putting themselves through trials and tribulations because of "Do It For Her". Even though doing all of this is the exact opposite of masculinity as Goatis and Prussian has touched on before.

The Christians teach people to go against their own senses, and that's how they make good slaves, even indirectly as the ideas spread throughout society and eventually becomes the social norm. Especially in Airports or Car Dealers, where they make you sit there for hours as if that's something normal and it's "expected" of you.

    1. But they aren't deluded. They actually are not good enough. That's how the universe has designed things. The universe and its contents have designed a world in a certain way (elements, properties, relations, rules, etc.), and the state of the universe is such that men are not good enough to live the life they want. The goal must be to face and overcome the pain of not being good enough and having no hope and existing in a stygian world in which you are constantly faced with unmet needs. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'd like to be wrong.

    2. @Eike,

I don't disagree with you there, it seems man's participation in these self-destructive rituals are not only because they think they aren't good enough, but also because they actually aren't. If men aren't good enough, than woman shouldn't be good enough either, yet they are handed everything. Which is sadly how things go, existing in this "stygian world". The problem with being thrown into a stygian world where you are placed under every disadvantage, is that there is no goal. Since it is designed in a way where you're dreams, hopes, and aspirations are shut down and existence itself has no meaning. You can try and create your own meanings/goals or perhaps your animalistic instincts are all you know as an "innate" goal, which is the everlasting pursuit of pleasure.

  2. You have to have some patience though.

I don't totally agree. Sometimes you do have to take two steps back, to go three steps forward. This happens a lot with investing. If you panic sell due to lack of patience or short term market conditions, you will get crushed, for example.

Some with education. It takes time to get it. It took me 5 years to get my MBA, as I did it part time. Well, that is a long time, and now this education pays huge dividends for me. If I was not patient with this process, I would have never completed it.

    1. @Joey Aragon,

For me, that would be 5 years too many to lose! I don't even have patience to go to a university or invest in stocks, I never did. I don't have patience for anything to be honest, even being in a car or train especially with heavy traffic bothers me.

For me, my life revolves around trying to get as much instant gratification as possible.

    2. Bob Shannon, the greatest high school football coach in American history from East St. Louis, used to say that "you are either going to enjoy life now, or enjoy life later".

I do enjoy myself now, but I think about the future as well.

Like food. You just can't eat ice cream sandwiches everyday without paying a price. Or Pizza. Imagine eating bad everyday? You are going to have a heart attack or a diabetes attack very soon.

At the same, time, I think Dr. Goatis has a good about about going after what you want in life. I think, eventually, I will go back to a warmer climate. But, the timing is just not right for me to do it. Maybe there is another word or phrase we can use in this situation?

You don't buy stocks or anything like that?
For some reason I thought you did even tho I feel I shouldn't be after what you've said lol,
it just seems like anyone with a fair amount of money saved up these days would have it from 'investing'.

I also was considering doing it but I really don't have much knowledge, so I could easily mess up. It's also just too risky & takes too much time for me, as someone with not many eggs in the basket to begin with.

I know some people pay others to invest for them, but even that I don't like- & with the small income I'd put in it would take years too have much profit anyway- when there are lifestyle changes I want NOW or atleast in the next few years.

    4. @T345,

Not even in the slightest, and I wouldn't even know where to start!

Stocks, exist in my mind, as fictitious assets, even though I know people get dividends and returns from them, and it just seems like something very stressful and plus I've always been the type of person who hates having my money tied up, even in small amounts.

      I feel the same tbh,
And also I hate learning new things like this too-
It has such a big learning curve, which is just something I'm so exhausted by even at my age. Then everything else you mentioned, is such a turn off.

I can't blame you for not having stocks, I guess you can also pat yourself on the back for not contributing to inflation!

Not that this a solution for everybody but,
this is why I'm planning to buy land & build a cob house- easier said than done buttttt once it's set up, the mortage + taxes are so low that I can cut my work days down to 2 days a week. Not saying this is ideal tho- I would love easy access to cheap quality food, entertainment, & 'community'- but U already know that's a longshot in this country...... To be fair, with the cob house lifestyle, I would have more free time & money tho.

    6. @T345,

      Well, Thank you!

The least I can say is that I am a self-made Man, a lot of it also comes from my Prussian upbringing, as it relates to a particular work ethic we have, it's hard to describe but in addition to being Long-term Planners, we tend to also view anything that doesn't seem concrete or make sense to essentially be "Bullshit" or "Sketchy".

Thus, the idea of money existing or coming from something that never was attached to any productive output, basically is just inflation or monopoly money in the system.

It's pretty extreme, in the family I grew up in we largely do not believe in things like Mortgages, or all kinds of Western Institutions of things people do today which they consider none other than a "normal existence".

To be honest, I identified with Goatis a lot early on in such ways too, and I think it has a lot to do with him growing up in Latvia, because naturally, people from these countries are also suspicious in general of Governments, Banks, Institutions, and prefer more on self-reliance whenever possible, especially if someone wants to be free.

The only thing I can't say is that I eat food independently of what's purchased in public supermarkets, but there's not a lot that can be done about that, and I did not have the privilege to grow up on a Large Estate.

    7. @T345,

I should also state for the record on that note, but I'm sure I've said it so many times in many other ways, but the only other real people I've found who largely adhere to these Prussian ways that I have always followed, tend to only seem to be the Amish... Sometimes I do find the Swiss can be similar in some respects with things, sometimes...

    8. @PSA,

Interesting.... You know what- I've genuinly wondered where you & Goatis get some of your traits from. It's sometimes hard for me to tell because I've really almost never met people in my life like you or goatis.

But yes- I notice Goatis has a VERY strong sense & aversion to when people are controlling & manipulating him.... which I suppose makes him a 'rebel' in a bullshty system?!

Not sure if this resonates with you, but all of the 'rebel' types I've known, if you listen to their backstories there's always some issue with family, culture, society, etc.
People could dismiss them by saying they're just a rebel because they had it especially bad or their just difficult- but I disagree. I mean, how many people do you see suffering in life, who despite that continue the cycle, almost like a machine running on autopilot.... That's what seperates a 'rebel' from someone who isn't.

And the more people on autopilot, the more people giving up control, just so their already meaningless difficult life is microscopically easier! This is the problem with the world, if only we could spawn in more PSA's & Goatis's! Jk....

I guess it's not surprising that you relate to the Amish,
If you think about it..... it's like they sniffed the bullshit a few hundred years in advance & prepared early- very German of them!

And also.... don't worry about repeating urself- I only remember u mentioning it once on ur old blog, & everytime it hits just as nicely :)).

    9. @PSA,

I will ALWAYS respect being 'self-made' over people who gain money &/or power undeservingly especially at the expense of others. If only the 'system' gave people like you your fair due.

Ultimately tho, I still think it was worth it that you had your own business, even it might make the retirement phase more difficult to navigate. I've got to say, it is pretty impressive that you created something from the ground up, even tho I guess I shouldn't be surpised with your ambitions. "Prussian society of anti natalists"! -I guess you also can pat yourself on the back for that too:D
