I've had this happen to me exactly 2 times in my life that I can recall, and what is the worst is one of them tried to cross the street "with me" out of nowhere and not thinking I actually had to spit up some mucus from a flu I was still fighting off. This was many many years ago, as she ended up trying to spit like me and told me how she wants to learn how to "spit like I do" and she seemed to think I do it as a habit or that I was trying to "flex".
