I'm really getting tired of people MUMBLING in public

The extent of people mumbling more and more, particularly from Employees is really getting on my nerves, and this is really enough to ruin my day.

And no, it's not my hearing either, because I hear very well and I have last gone for a hearing test 2 years ago and was told that my hearing is better than most people who are even in their 60's and they were shocked at how I was able to hear so well, only 1 out of 10 people have as good hearing at my age from what I was told.

That being said, I have been finding myself in NUMEROUS situations where even as much of a greeting or the way that people shape their words, comes out "garbled" from their stupid mouths, and I interpret something differently than what's being said, all because they can't speak normally.

And because they can't speak normal, I end up engaging in a senseless, retarded brief conversation with them.

For example, I ordered a coffee drink this morning, and the barista asked me what sounded like the word "Mocha" instead of "Milk", and then it got into a conversation with debating about whether or not it would be a good thing to put that in the type of drink I ordered, and what "kinds" of Mocha do you have...

Even after I have gone in many times always getting the same kind of Milk... REAL MILK...

There was also a discrepancy on the "size" of the drink I ordered.

What makes matters even more insane, is that year ago when I used to order here, this was never a problem with this employee. But it seems every new time I go in, it gets more difficult and problematic, even though my orders are always the same.

You see, the days of walking into a place where people "know you by your name" and automatically "know what you regularly order" and get it right to you, are GONE... And yet they still expect tips.

Even just walking into a restaurant is problematic too. Not only is greetings in most places very superficial or cold, if it even exists at all, but the other day when I went somewhere, the acting "hostess" said to me "Just One"!? And I had to ask her 3 times to repeat herself, and it becomes super frustrating especially when it's obvious that it's just me, and it completely began to put me off for the entire time there.

These micro-frustrations are also building up a very nasty form of resentment and grumpiness I have in dealing with the public in general, because I don't even want to say Hi to anyone, I don't want to interact with them, and it makes me feel more urgent to demand things from them right away and I'm tired of explaining myself.

It's so obvious how much more the Robots and Automated systems are going to replace people, because even for someone like myself, it's unbearable to deal with people on any level. So there eventually will be ordering machines in restaurants and robot servers, there is absolutely no doubt about this.

And don't even get me started on the employees who are still wearing face masks that try to talk to you through their masks and you can't hear them properly. YES, where I live, the mask wearing is STILL a big thing. It may not be as big as it once was, but depending on time of year or any new scares, between 10-25% of people are still wearing face masks.
