I seen a banner at a Target Today, showing $17.25 Starting Pay Per Hour...
Honestly, it's unreal to think someone would even go in for a job that pays $17.25 per hour.
It of course cannot even be $18.00, nevermind $20, but $17.25. And that's before Taxes and Insurance.
I would never work for such a wage. It's just completely demoralizing.
For starters, if I were going to even get a job at these places and work a full shift, I would not work for less than $50.00 an hour, and remember what I said about the $50/hr rule.
That being said, even that would make me still want to look for another job, if I were in such a position.
It's better to make a few hundred in a short couple of hours for something, rather than work a full day shift for peanuts.
You know, even to ring up a sale for something that is $17.25, even the transaction itself is almost more trouble than it's worth...
I can't imagine how people stay in business these days, and how people are still willing to do work, because the numbers just don't add up. Nobody can live on those wages.
For example, I bought what's worth today about 3 Bags of Groceries, most of it was Meat, Seafood and Cheese, along with some Fruits, Juices and Tea.
It costed me $195.00
No way could you think I'm working for $17.25 per hour, these fuckers are nuts!
I know plenty of Italians that could buy house with that wage!
ReplyDeleteI mean, they would have to be married, to make it work. I wish I was lying....I know Italians that never made more than 50K/year, and are multi millionaires...not that being a millionaire these days is something great...
you are correct that inflation just destroyed so much of the savings people had...and leaving money in the bank is the dumbest thing a person can do.
As for the wage, well, you have to start somewhere. I made $5/hour in high school, working at a deli. Of course, I was a teen and lived at home with no expenses. Still, people need to just get creative in these low wage situations. Such as living within walking distance to work or having a family roommate. I would not recommend having a roommate that is not family.
Regardless, this system is really done. People on edge so much these days....
Funny story, at the park today. I went to the smaller park. About 20 of us these. It is a Falls area...anyway, 15-20 whites I saw were hiking and enjoying the falls...it is in a very rural area...and I see one NIG...
He is in the parking lot...smoking dope...I just bit my tongue...unreal, isn't it?
The nig wasn't there to see the Falls (his car was parked where he couldn't see it), and he was just sitting there in his car, smoking dope, all by himself...
What a loser.
What a terrible race of people with no class.
The motto of modern employers is "maximum profit, at any cost". They don't care about who they have to step on, take advantage of, deceive, manipulate e.t.c. as long as it increases profits. The cost of living in the West has increased significantly, especially since the convid-19 psy-op, and yet wages haven't increased anywhere near enough to cover the ever increasing inflation.
ReplyDeleteSomething basic like eggs have increased in price around 40-50% in the UK, in the last few years. The house bills also went through the roof. And the employers want to offer a 5% salary increase, as if that's going to cover the ridiculous cost of living.
