    Yes it's just another load of 'Cope.' You go through a ton of shit for a long time and eventually something reasonably pleasant happens and then when it does people think 'There, I was right to know that things were going to come and help me if I waited long enough.' The reality is that most of the time you are forced into a war against a constant tidal wave of shit being thrown at you. All this 'Carl Jung' stuff is like a kind of fairy story. Another one is Joseph Campbell, and his 'heroes journey' nonsense..the idea roughly being that when you are suffering its all part of some great story where in the end you are victorious. Lots of people propagate this experiential cherry picking nonsense.
