Another Interesting Comment Set

I can't say of course whether or not these people are necessarily "decent" people of course. But, let's go with the assumption that they are, and assume that their spouse whom they had children with, were an NPC, and that they had NPC Offspring... Hear you have it, straight from the horses mouth, by someone MUCH older than you young ones now growing up who are being gaslit by Boomers that you might change your mind on having children... Also remember what I said about the "Boomer" mentality and attitude about Young people "figuring things out" in life, even after the trail of shit the Boomers left for the younger generations where they offshored all the jobs and fucked up society for them. They expect "YOU" to magically figure out the solution.

Also, the other manipulation tactic they use is called "diffusion". There is another manipulation as well that can always be entered as well, but notice how the person who responded to this comment by TheWaxprincess, insisted how there were even "worse" times than are. Dismissing the grievances of others, such as telling them things like "There are children STARVING in Africa, you are ungrateful", are highly manipulative statements, as these statements dismiss the grievances from someone and also are distributed on the basis that "All People Are Equal" and deserving of the same fate or things in life, when that might not be the case.

Im 68, retired and have fallen into the deepest level of despair lately. I find myself in a state of chronic worry about the future for my kids and grandkids. I see them struggle in every area of life which makes me feel so desperate. They don’t necessarily reach out to me unless they need money. Luckily I’m able to help, but the standard guidance I pull from my past doesn’t apply. I can barely relate to their lives and the challenges they face being fed on line by social media. And this is the ‘joy’ of having children?

they will figure it out, don't stress.
Kids grew up in England and France during WW2. Kids grew up in even worse situations than ours right now.

  1. I came across a tweet by a boomer who posted how life was hard when his generation was growing up and, I shit you not, the first thing he led with was how they didn’t have microwaves growing up.

    1. @Saint, Isn't it incredible the types of ridiculous examples Boomers will give to try to justify a point? As if the Microwave is the pinnacle of Human Inventions. I've never even owned a Microwave in my life and have gotten by all this time. But in a very sort of inverse way, that's the "Boomer" demonstrating to you how lazy they are.

Did you see a video review by Legion of Men about how alien boomers are because of their naïveté. It mentions how younger people today are more likely to relate to a guy from Brazil than to boomers.

    3. @Saint, I actually hadn't seen that particular video, but will have to check that out, that is a comical comparison but yet so believable, that someone could relate more to someone from Brazil than a Boomer. Boomers are SO out of touch with reality.

  2. Boomer trait number 1...

they have little to no empathy.
