Hogan's Heroes - Revisiting A Favorite Pastime of mine.

Even I can have a good laugh now and then, even about myself of the character of what makes us Germans the way we are.

In any case, Hogan's Heroes clearly is making a true mockery out of the magnificent Sharp, Chiseled Uniforms that Germans have come up with, along with a refined character, our ability to command presence with how we speak, and our strong sense of discipline, which even the American and British Propagandists couldn't help but to secretly admire but yet invert to make a mockery out of us, which also serve as a means to Program the populations on their perception about us.

As if Sargeant "Schultz" in the video would be doing or practicing his disciplined Marches in the "Changing of the Guard" ritual at night-time, and how his extreme love for food with having a large body, would make him even fall weakness to some "Apfelstrudel".

Even down to the fact that many Germans during the war-time and times past, had worn eyepieces.

All in all, it just shows the envy the British and Americans had for us, and how much they admired our commanding presence and uniforms, but create this propaganda to make us look like "doddering fools".

But the funny thing is how our critics will go out of their way to always exaggerate features, whether it be in some sitcom feature or a movie like this, or even a cartoon.

I've spent many many hours over the years watching numerous Propaganda films that the British and Americans have put out, but what I find absolutely impressive is to the degree of meticulous perfectionism that the British have been in using every aspect of our personalities, and even the tragedies or consequences that existed in Germany in some form or another, to depict in the films.

For example, there was a "Donald Duck" series, by which even the fact that Germany during the Third Reich faced a "Coffee shortage", in addition to the fact that historically, Prussia  and also the Third Reich had a somewhat "restrictive" policy towards Coffee drinking, along with "Wheat", that there was a scene where Donald Duck had to dig out a "secret stash" of coffee flavored coffee, and also eat bread that was made out of sawdust. Something that was common during the depression period, and even in America using sawdust in bread was a common practice.

A very humorous case of the British being the "pot that calls the kettle BLACK" in many Propaganda Posters made both during World War I would try to depict the Kaiser with an exaggerate mustache, and nearly every figure between Bismarck, Wilhelm II or other German Soldiers wearing a "Pickelhaube" where the features of the visor to the degree it covered the eyes, had been greatly exaggerated. But the Pickelhaube also has been used at times by the British.

Nevertheless, the visor served the purpose for eye protection in this manner, while yet the British tried to make us to seem like we looked ridiculous, but that somehow their "Matchstick Helmets" worn by British Soldiers, particularly the "Royal Guard" somehow "don't look ridiculous, even while being more notorious for covering their eyes:

There have been many Propaganda efforts to exaggerate everything about the Nazis, especially figures like Goring and they would make him to appear even more "obese" and cover him in a ridiculous amount of Swastikas, as can be observed here...

It's the same thing with Goatis as well, since the Propagandists behind him are making fun of his rich accent and the fact that v's are pronounced as w's and w's as v's, even though this is pretty much standard in any Nordic country, not just Germany.

Even some Non-Nordic peoples, even when speaking in English, have adopted this as well, if not through their own languages or dialects, they may have done so as a habit. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Our critics who truly envy us, instead of celebrating us, their obsession turns into a venomous hatred and constant desire to imitate us through mockery.

I was just recently in fact, given the 21st century "Goring" Treatment...

But hey, I'll take it for what it's worth! It's an honor and a compliment, because actually that looks like quite a cozy wood cabin out somewhere in the Black Forest... Which is where I'm meant to be.
